camping fun

this weekend, the leadership of 6:22 went camping.
it was a wonderful weekend, to get away from the everyday life, and be able to fellowship with a fun group of people, that you can laugh with, sit with, talk about life and Jesus with, or do nothing with.
some highlights of the weekend...{for me at least}
*sitting on a porch
*sitting on a quilt by a fire
*have my quilt moved by Mary and Dara to a wonderful spot on a "island" under a tree
*playing apples to apples
*laughing {ALOT}
*making hot tea
*talking about Jesus and His goodness.
*watching the B.B.F.F
*being with a group of people, i think of as family
*watching Dara and Mary be freaked out by doing a devo
*hearing and watch them do an amazing job on their devo. :)
*coloring
*eating pita pizzas{way better than i thought they would be}
*encouraging each other in the gifts that have been givin.
*hearing what each other gifts were
*learning past stories that lead up to where everyone is today
*SMORES!
*having a marshmellow that was on fire fall on my hand, {while painful, still funny}
*playing with fire. : )
*being with people that love. and want to love like Jesus.


it was a great time. it so nice to be around people who really try to live more like Jesus, and who have hearts to serve Him, as well as others. I am learning that time is love, you chose to spend time with the people that you love. Time  its precious. I wish that we {myself included} would spend more time learning to love, and laughing, and loving people where they are at,and encourage them in Jesus,  and learning to live more like Jesus, not try to, but to just do it.
