ello world.
so i had off today, so i went to the prayer room. i am telling you, every time i walk in, no matter if i am working or not, it feels like home. i walked in and Scott Bircher was leading his prayer shift. It was so nice to be able to walk in, and just sit down and be with the Lord, some where outside of my apartment, i will be honest, i try to sit down and just "be" when i am at home, but i get distracted, so to know there is a place where the focus is to seek the Lord, and pray...i like it. : ) as i was sitting on the floor, thinking about people, and jobs and what it must be like for some people to have the jobs like they do, and how if those people didn't do their jobs, well then the cities would be pretty crazy...think about it, lawyers, and cops, and firemen, or even the bus drivers, or the lunchservers...if you really take time to think about them, and what it means to have their job, it kinda changes your mind set on things. Take a lawyer for example, they work with people all day, everyday, working with cases that many of never know about. think about if that lawyer was someone who looked at the job as a way to touch people, and minister Gods love...if God could use one Lawyer in one office (He can do that by way) to touch people, think of the overflow!!! it made me really happy, to think about all that God can do, and how just by that, the city could be changed. and God would get the glory. then i started to think...how could this happen...and God said, pray about, pray for it, pray for the Lawyers, pray for the bus drivers that drive kids to and from school, pray for the city bus drivers. pray for the police, the firemen, the people that work in the courthouse, for the people that work for the city..dont just think about, but do it. if you care about this city, you will do.
my response? alright, lets do this.
